Founded in 1999 by Dori K. Hosek, Global Prosthetics is here to serve our patients with our main office located in Madison, WI, with satellite offices in Appleton, WI, Green Bay, WI, and Rockford, IL. We also now have a satellite office in Wilmington, NC. The practice flourishes to this day and works closely with all the great medical organizations throughout Wisconsin and Illinois as well as North Carolina. This includes, but is not limited to the VA, American Family Children’s Hospital, UW Health, SSM Health Dean Medical Group, BayCare Eye, Valley Eye, Mercyhealth, SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, Rockford Memorial Hospital and Wilmington Eye in North Carolina.
We have also grown to serve patients in the Chicago, Western Wisconsin, and Michigan Upper Peninsula areas.
Transitioned to new owners Tim and Amy Brakefield in 2016, Global Prosthetics continues to evolve and grow its service through the skillful artistry designed to exceed the expectations of its patients. Originally from Alabama, Tim and Amy say they owe their successful adjustment to life in their new community to the kindness and support of Midwesterners as a whole. Great friends and colleagues they have met since moving to Wisconsin have really helped this transition (even the winters) move smoothly and enjoyably. They look forward to continuing to provide the same outstanding care that Global Prosthetics has prided itself on for another 20 years, and beyond.
